Welcome to the iVision website, please drag any ring downward to begin.
It’s a fact, people are more likely to take note of and remember dynamic moving images than static signs.
The iVision brand incorporates a wide range of products and specialist services to deliver media rich communications to target audiences through Dynamic Digital Signage (DDS)
DDS is the use of displays,1 Digital content,2 and internet technologies to deliver and manage media rich signage networks to replace traditional static signs and notices.
DDS Solutions3 need minimal input from their owners and can be integrated with existing systems and information sources already in use to provide accurate, up the minute eye catching displays. By centralised management of the media and messages that appear on specific displays, messages can be targeted to the audience at a given time and location suited to achieving your marketing and communications objectives.
Content which can be displayed includes Live Digital and Analog TV, RSS News feeds, Internet Radio, Flash Movies, MPEG and live database feeds delivering targeted content delivery which can be administered and controlled remotely.

A range of displays to suit all requirements; including LCD, Kiosk, through window and outdoor displays
We have worked hard to offer you a wide range of display options to ensure we have an option suitable for all installation requirements. We have selected manufacturers who produce models that are designed for business use and are adapted to perform well under extended usage. Our range of projectors and LCDs include those designed for full operation 24/7.
From through glass interactive to outdoor rugged kiosks and LCD/PC combination units, we have a display to suit your needs.

Rear –Projection technologies use a rear-projection film or foil, and a projector mounted or suspended from a ceiling or floor location. Projectors can be recessed into ceilings and used in combination with mirrors to hide the light source, providing you with a “floating” high impacting display appearing in thin air. The mounting versatility of these films and foils offer the opportunity to communicate from areas that were previously unimaginable.
If you want to deliver a digital message, that maintains impact, while in full sunlight, no product accomplishes this better than our range of holographic displays manufactured by Sax3d.
Holographic-Optical Projection Screens are transparent projection screens for large-format reproduction of pictures under day-light or under direct spotlight conditions.
The film is treated by extensive laser technology and alternatively laminated with glass or acrylic, or applied directly to glass as a film.
A data projector is fixed – either on the floor, or from the ceiling at a specific angle to direct the light directly to the viewer. Ambient light, from other angles such as sunlight or display lighting is not diffracted by the holographic film, and therefore passes through the projection screen. The result is a day-light resistant display of intense colour and quality.
In installations where standard rear-projection foils fail due to bright surroundings you will see the difference in the quality of the holographic foils. As an eye catching display in shop windows, for events and shows as well as for meeting rooms and conferences, the brighter the environment the more impressive the display.
We also offer a range of diffusion rear-projection foils (non-transparent) and reflective two way foils for application to glass or acrylic.

There are many differences between consumer model LCD and plasma displays and models designed for signage purposes. Displays that are used in dynamic situations are designed specifically for prolonged usage periods – extending to full 24 hour usage. A wide range of options is available to suit all installation spaces: Displays can be mounted in landscape or portrait format, suspended from ceilings, floor or wall stands, or combined together to form video walls in sizes up to 82”

In some environments where you require your DDS installation to have extra security such as trade fairs, libraries, or public places, or if space is a premium, the kiosk installation may suit your requirements.
In a range of shapes and sizes, there is certainly a kiosk to suit all requirements, from floor standing, wall mounted to outdoor rugged kiosks. Optional additions include coin acceptors, credit card swipe track, VOIP phone implementation, thermal printer (Built in) with auto cutter, paper width 80/58mm, reduced height with protection tubes (for children, wheelchair access) and heavy duty flight case for mobile units.
Options available include: Coin Acceptor, Credit Card Swiper Track, VOIP Phone Implementation, Thermal Printer (Built in) with auto cutter, paper width 80/58mm, Reduced Height with Protection Tubes (for children, wheelchair access) and Heavy Duty Flight Case for mobile units.

For outdoor installations, iVision carries a range of technologies to enable you to get your message across in all environmental situations.
From rugged LCD monitors with integrated PCs to Kiosk units, and wall mounted touch screens.
Our displays are specially designed for use in outdoor environments, with differing configurations available for fans and heaters depending on the ambient conditions of the installation location.

Interactive foils turn windows, tables and other displays into touchscreens
By adding a simple foil to your signage installation you can turn it into the largest touchscreen you can imagine. At sizes up to 2.54m from corner to corner, our interactive foils can be applied to rear-projection and new or existing LCD displays.
Our lightweight touch foil can be applied directly to a window or a glass sheet and then a rear projection screen or LCD can be mounted behind the touch foil to create a through-window/glass touch experience.
The Interactive foil can be mounted using either a permanent or a removable fixing method allowing the touch unit to be moved to another location if required.
The touch foil is ideal for upgrading existing through window rear projection or LCD displays to create a through window touch experience.
There are no external components required with the Interactive foil so the installation is completely safe behind the window.

A content management system enables you to do all of the above - and much more depending on the package you select. Some content management systems will only enable you to publish content created in a third party application, while others will enable you to layout and design your content, create links to databases and provide truly dynamic content that is responsive to your viewer. At the top end of the scale, expect your content managements system to provide a complete work flow from the information sharing, design, scheduling and management process right through to reporting on what was shown, when and where on your network.
There are many content management systems available in the market place today - from entry level systems like Samsung's Magicinfo to Scala's InfoChannel suite of products and myVision's interactive cataloguing software. They all differ immensely in their offerings and the selection of your digital signage software should be a rigorous process, involving pilot installation and a real life trial to ensure that the package you select will function as you expect, and require.
Our consultants will work with you on this process, from selecting the initial hardware, software and recommendations on your network design and layout, all the way through to providing a managed support service if required.
More information on the range of systems we support and recommend can be found on the right hand side.

There are many applications for dynamic signage, see some of them here
Why Dynamic Digital Signage (first page in sector breakdown) Traditional print signs often require the service of graphic designers and printers which place further demand on already tight marketing budgets. These costs must be weighed against the perceived importance and revenue generating potential of the sign. Annually, the cost of designing, printing, installing and disposing of your printed signs can cost a considerable amount. Digital signage offers an effective, affordable alternative. All displays can be generated in-house (or from company headquarters) and instantly displayed throughout the property. Any amendments can be made immediately without the need to remove and replace existing signage. Better communication Digital Signage gives you the opportunity to reach out to your target audience in a new and informative way.
New revenue source Digital signage can allow you to generate extra revenue by running third party advertising which can be scheduled to run at regular intervals throughout the day. Local taxis, car hire companies, golf clubs, theatres, hair salons, drinks companies – any local or indeed national business can advertise on your system. Flexibility Digital signage allows management to control the content of each display from a central location, allowing you to target the right person in the right place at the right time. It also gives you the ability to reach guests with time sensitive messaging, for example - breakfast, lunch and dinner menus for dining areas. Most media file types can be supported by the system. File types include mpeg, avi, flash, quicktime, jpeg, live video feeds, web pages and live television feeds.
Whether your business is a large supermarket or a local video rental outlet, iVision’s range of Dynamic Digital Signage and associated products can increase your sales potential. The recognized benefit of digital signage is the ability to focus advertising on the customer in the store facilitating the display of a focused brand message to the RIGHT customer at the RIGHT time in the RIGHT location.
A “Dynamic Digital Signage” solution has many benefits over traditional methods.
The iVision Digital Signage solution provides flexible and automated content delivery and display to multiple screens or locations from a single device, a single server delivering content to multiple locations and your choice of content to each display device. iVision enable the delivery of video and data content to digital displays replacing traditional printed signage. Allowing the provider and retailer the opportunity to literally speak to and/or interact with their customers on the sales floor, directly influencing purchase decisions. Digital Signage opens the doors to presenting the right message at the right time, to the right audience. Advertise new products; provide menu ideas and recipe shopping lists, direct shoppers to required locations (way-finding). The displays can be linked to a POS system query for sales of products A and B. If product A is selling well, the display will show product B. When product B sales exceed product A, the display will begin to promote a mix of products A and B, or product A by itself. In this way, your signage network becomes intelligent and assists you in proactive marketing of your products and services. Displays located at the point of purchase allow marketers to put their messaged where they can best achieve results, and can also be easily measured. DDS offers branding and merchandising performance along with cost, business process and target marketing efficiencies.
Powerful visual messages can now be used to replace traditional print media to effectively communicate in house merchandising programmes and other information. Deliver fresh and compelling messages to customers in the teller line and other branch waiting areas. These messages can be delivered alongside live TV and news feeds, ensuring that the content remains interesting and up-to-date. Enhanced customer experience, cross promotion opportunities and the power to educate, inform and market the various products to a captive audience, present compelling reasons for a network of dynamic digital displays in public areas.
Corporate TV Communication can be implemented linking to all your existing databases, such as meeting room availability, training details, canteen facilities and menus, contact lists and so on. The displays can be scheduled to display the canteen facilities for the morning to provide information to your staff, and then switch to promoting new products for the company during lunch when you have a captive audience in the canteen areas. The displays can be instantly controlled should management have an urgent message that they need to communicate to the company, reverting to the scheduled programme of media once the announcement has been completed.
Touchscreens and Interactive Windows for the Property Market
iVision can deliver an automated digital signage solution to meet the display and advertising needs of the property sector. By using our innovative touchscreen system you can allow the public 24hour access to information from your entire portfolio. A key feature of our system is its ability to automatically display information by reading a database file directly from the your existing database with relevant content information.
iVision’s Interactive Window Display systems have many benefits over conventional methods of advertising.
The automobile showroom is often perceived as a high pressure environment, a place where the customer feels that they need to be prepared to haggle. With the introduction of interactive displays, the showroom can be seen as more of an information centre. Touch screen technology allows for a virtual test drive in a pressure free environment.
With the advent of the “Xbox Generation”, it is a proven fact that younger consumers are more responsive to digital media. By utilising interactive displays you can appeal to a huge market sector in a format that they are accustomed to.
While car buying will always be a one-to-one transaction, the decision making process can be made easier and faster if the customer feels that they are in possession of as much information as possible before dealing with a sales executive.
DDS in Action
“Vehicle Information Centres” (VIC) in 1850 dealerships in the USA. These were in the form of kiosk terminals. At the VIC terminals, customers could view not only colour variations on the interior and exterior, but could also call up information about the vehicle as well as technical details.
Mazda’s “Retail revolution” aimed to make their dealer showrooms an experience for their customers. Kiosk terminals played a crucial role. While waiting for an oil change or a test drive, customers can configure their dream car, buy accessories, look at Mazda promotional videos or surf the Mazda web-site. Mazda’s “Retail Kiosk” offers current and detailed information about the different Mazda products. Customers can look at all technical data and can also compare the selected Mazda car with appropriate competitor models.
At its used car centre in Dreieich Germany, BMW deployed 11 touch screen kiosks throughout the facility, all of which are networked to a central database that maintains a list of each automobile and all of its specifications (make, model, colour, options, year, mileage, price, location on lot). A built in search function allows shoppers to home in on options and styles that they prefer. The kiosks also display full-colour 360-degree photos of each vehicle, from inside and out. This can save a lot of time for both customer and salesperson, especially if the customer is looking at several vehicles.
iVision can deliver an automated digital signage solution to meet the unique communication needs of a hotel lobby environment,. In addition to full motion video promoting the property and related services, a key feature of our system is its ability to automatically display daily agenda information by reading a database file directly from the properties existing event management software or any other database with relevant content information.

The pressure to get more results from advertising continues to increase, and dynamic signage is rapidly becoming part of a company’s annual advertising spend.
As ultra-thin LCD, LED and rear-projection displays continue to become more affordable, it is now possible for even small businesses to utilise dynamic signage. Sales and marketing penetration can expand more quickly than ever before. Information audio and video presentation can be delivered to eye-catching displays spread across many locations, either local or remote.
As standalone displays, or network managed digital signage, your content can be delivered to literally thousands of viewers at the click of a button.
Digital signage supports commerce, public safety and information needs because they are so visual, vivid and eye-catching. Having the facility to provide information at a point of decision, or when information is needed underpins the value of this communications method for advertisers and public service providers.
Revenue increases averaging 30 % are being realised on products profiled on digital signage, ranging from 109 % for a new soft drink and 319 % for a new calling card.
Why do I need it?
To capture the impulse in retail shopping To provide dynamic information to a network of displays To centralize the management and control of your advertising network Eliminate printing, delivery and assembly and removal spend for current advertising mediums Standardise your campaigns and appearance at the click of a button to deliver uniform content across your network of displays
